Harstad municipality and the port will together make Rødskjær harbor and business park an attractive business area for the sea-based industries in the Hålogaland region. The development of Rødskjær is taking place at the same time as the Hålogalandsvegen is being built.
Ramboll is hired in a four year project, covering all phases in development of an new industry area, from feasibility studies, financial planning and master planning, to landfill and construction of land, roads and harbour areas. The project is combining business development and infrastructure development. The Visualisation team in Ramboll contributes with interactive 3d model, illustrations and film to promote the business park and show the future plans in a good and understandable way
